Because of the risk of an obese child developing diabetes, it’s valuable to have a physical and eye exam regularly.

While August is Children’s Eye Health and Safety month, sponsored by Prevent Blindness American as well as Cataract Awareness Month, sponsored by the American Academy of Opthamology, any month is a good time to schedule an eye exam with an eye-care professional.
