It never ceases to amaze me. When parents hear the obese child diagnosis in their kids, they deny it. They figure it will work itself out. One or both parents believe their child isn’t that heavy. Alternately, parents wonder how their child ever ate to obesity. One or the other parent is fervent in the belief that they have to be stricter with the child.

Let’s look at childhood obesity from a different perspective.

If your kid had a broken arm, would you ignore it? Would you figure it would go away on its own? Would you say it’s not really that broken? Would you blame your child for intentionally causing the break? Would you say you had to be stricter to prevent future broken bones?

Parents, shake yourself out of your denial this second. But only if you don’t want them to die before you do. Get all the weightloss, diet, products, diet coaching hints and help you need to effectively cure your obese child from a lifetime of struggle.
