Sometimes an obese child will find a cup of tea destressing. Usually, they prefer it well sweetened with milk. Be aware, however, that when we drink tea with milk we negate a key health benefit.

A study at the Univeristy of Berlin revealed that women who drank about two cups of black tea a day without added milk, had significant improvements in the ability of their blood vessels to relax and expand. Those who added milk to their black tea had no improvements at all.

In diet coaching nutritionists know many benefits derive from tea. So if tea is enjoyed encourage your obese child to drink it black.
